K&K RV Center, located in Burleson, just south of Ft Worth, Texas, was originally founded by Kent Meyer and Kirk Clayton with a dream in mind. They both had a vision of creating an RV dealership and service center that would be able to make the customers feel as if they were doing business with a friend. They wanted to take their passion and love for RVs and channel it into a company like no other in the RV world.
Shortly after Kent's retirement from General Motors in June 2006, he began to look for something to fill his empty work schedule. He had become friends with Kirk Clayton about a year before and started telling him what he wanted to do. Kirk had been a very big player in the RV world for about 25 years and had helped other RV dealerships and service centers in south Ft. Worth flourish. Kirk expressed how he would like to start his own RV dealership and service center as well. So, after only a couple months of looking, they leased a place south of Ft. Worth in Burleson.
K&K RV Center handles all types of consignments from individuals as well as dealers and also does service on all types of RVs and travel trailers. A brand new service center has also just opened with a very experienced mechanic as service manager. Ray Smith has more than 18 years experience working with RV repair and service. He has trained many people and worked for many large companies in the RV service departments of the south Ft. Worth and Burleson areas.
Kent Meyer, the sales manager and owner, has been dabbling in sales his entire life. Kent plans to grow the sales department slowly with well-trained, devoted employees, who know their stock and exactly how to communicate with any customer.
K&K still has the same goal it had when it was founded back in October 2006. The goal is to provide unsurpassed customer support, clean facilities, and a place where the customer will feel at home as much as possible.
